Happy New Year!

I wanted to start the year by saying a huge thank you for your support in 2022. I set myself some pretty significant goals last January and it was amazing to see them come in to being over the last few months. I continued working with the incredibly talented Hannah Farthing and have completely overhauled my products by adding stunning and unique pieces of art to each one. I went out to as many markets as possible (my baby boy came along until the summer when he started being able to crawl/run away from me!) and met so many new customers and small business friends. Plus, I got to showcase my wonderful products in a major retailer at the busiest time of the year!

I’m so immensely proud and while there have been some low moments, 2022 really ended on such a high. I had made what I thought was a huge amount of candles in October and as the Christmas markets began and the pop up shops needed more stock, it suddenly dawned on me that I was going to run out of everything. In the weeks leading up to the John Lewis pop up, the DMs and text messages of support really helped to get me through the mega long days building that stock up again. I was so exhausted going in to the week and without the comments, shares, messages and visits, it would have been much harder to power through the week.

In short, my week in store went really well, I had incredible sales, I met an entirely new customer base and I received feedback including “this was the best sales experience of Christmas”. The store have invited me back and I’m very excited about the opportunities coming my way this year.
